A mathematically-derived Mandelbrot set creates an infinitely complex image based on an extremely simple equation involving complex numbers. This image shows a colourful pattern, inside a larger identical colourful pattern, inside a larger identical colourful pattern, and so on … infinitely.
Mandelbrot sets were made famous by the mathematician Benoît Mandelbrot and can give you a fascinating (and meditative) journey into the holographic structure of the Cosmos. The following pictures help demonstrate how things can be similar but different - in this case, similar in shape (same potential) but different in size (different expression of that potential), depending on the community surrounding it (section of the Mandelbrot set).
